How the mosque uses your details
Masjid Kampung Damai runs this sponsorship board. This page explains what we keep when you sponsor, why, who sees it and for how long.
What we keep
- The name or dedication you choose for the board. If you stay anonymous, no name is saved.
- Your email address and phone number, if you give them.
- The bank reference or screenshot you send to show you have paid.
- Your reference, the nights you chose and the amount.
Why we keep it
To hold your choice, check your payment and put your name on the board, and to contact you about this sponsorship if we need to. We don't use your details for anything else, and we never sell them. If you give your email address, an email service sends our messages to you on the mosque's behalf.
Who sees it
- Your name, or Abdullah if you stay anonymous, is shown on the public board and may be read out at the mosque.
- Your email, phone number and payment details are seen only by the mosque's team.
How long we keep it
- Payment screenshots are deleted 14 days after the event's last day.
- Your name, email address, phone number and note are kept until you ask the mosque to remove them.
- The record of your gift stays with the mosque's accounts, as every donation must.
Your choices
To see or correct your details, or to stop being contacted, please contact the mosque with your reference.
You can also ask the mosque to remove your name and contact details at any time, from one booking or all of them. The record of your gift stays, under Abdullah.
